This two stage processing system combines the universal WLK shredder with a reshredder from the NZ Series and provides an economical solution for processing plastics, foil, cable pipes etc. in the Plastics Recycling Industry. In comparison to other large granulators it requires less capital investment , has a lower running cost, lower noise level, requires less frequent replacement of knives and boasts low energy and labour costs.
Low noise levels Low maintenance Low energy consumption Quick cleaning and screen replacement Easy access
Two shredding units allows for more flexibility Fully automatic operation Turnkey system Separator for foreign objects as an optional extra
Pre-shredding with a Universal Shredder from the WLK Series
The re-shredding with a granulator from the NZ Series
The pre-shredding of the materials to approx. 15mm is done by the Universal Shredder from the WLK Series which is used for practically every type of material ranging from foil up to the solid material block. The WLK series all have a strong gearbox and motor and are extremely stable machines. In comparison to other granulators the speed range is considerably lower. This is the reason for the low noise level.
The NZ granulator works then on the further processing of the preground material . It reduces the material to a size of 3 - 10 mm (depending on the screen hole diameter). Output depends on the size and type of the material and is usually between 100 - 2.500 kg/h.
