Single-shaft high performance shredder with WING-RAM
The slow turning single shaft shredder WT(K) is used in the wood, plastic and recycling industries for shredding xxlarge volumes of wood, textiles, paper, film, fibres etc. This system was specially designed for the needs of the Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) and the Refuse Derived Fuels (RDF) industry. The special designed wing ram guarantees an effective size reduction for light weight materials like film, paper, veneer, etc.

Features
The TORNADO is the ideal solution for shredding light weight materials and is also a clever addition to the tried and tested WLK Series. The special swinging WING-RAM guide pusher ensures the constant feed of materials onto the rotating knives. The machine is very compact and can be installed in small spaces or can also be installed as a mobile unit. The TORNADO can be delivered with an optional V-Rotor or a Flat Rotor system. The Rotor surround is fitted with concave knives which are four times reversible.

Standard Fittings:
• Flat Rotor with welded or mounted knife holders • Hydraulically driven WING-RAM • Segmented floor for an accurate feed of material by the guide pusher WING-RAM (especially for shredding film). • Super-Cut System (adjustable counter knife) • Second knife positioned overhead for higher & faster output • Hydraulically driven screen-front , for ease of maintenance • Segmented screen inserts • Hopper size according to customer requirements • Encased Rotor bearings fitted to the outside of the machine for easy access • Cutting action and machine is PLC controlled
