WEIMA ECO1 & Briquette Press Combo |

WEIMA has recently found success in promoting the ECO1 single-shaft
shredder and the TH Series Briquette Press as a combo unit. The
process starts by shredding the wood scrap with the low speed, low
RPM ECO shredder. From there the shredded material is discharged by
air, along with the rest of the dust and shaving from other
production equipment. The briquette press will be placed directly
under the dust collection system. By using a rotary air lock we are
able to control the load of the material that will fall into the
hopper of the press. The material will then be compressed into a briquette which is generally between 2”-3” in diameter, depending on the size of the unit. Since no glue or adhesives are using as a binding agent, therefore, these high density briquettes can often be used as a fuel source. These machines can be sold separately.
