This year WEIMA America turns 10 years old. The Fort Mill, SC
Company was founded in 1999 by the owners of WEIMA Maschinenbau GmbH
which is headquartered in Ilsfeld, Germany. As interest in shredding
and briquetting equipment continued to grow within the North
American market, WEIMA owners knew it was the right time to
establish a facility which continues to provide both sales and
service support locally to the United States, Canada and parts of
Mexico. WEIMA America currently incorporates space in two facilities
which allows room for an inventory warehouse of machines and parts,
a live showroom, service center as well as sales and development
offices. In conjunction with WEIMA America’s 10 year anniversary the
company as a whole is celebrating 25 years in business worldwide.
